2007 Philadelphia Distance Run

Mom and I have had a terrible time getting to races lately. The 2 hour drive to Philadelphia took four hours because some idiot decide that it was a perfectly fine idea to close 2 of the 3 lanes on I-95 in the middle of a Saturday afternoon.

I was not in the mood to do this race, and almost bailed out at mile 2 when we ran past our hotel. However, I finished it and for a change they took some decent pictures of me. Perhaps it's because I borrowed mom's green shirt.

Anyway, after this streak of travel luck, I'm done running this race. It would be easier to fly to Chicago and run one of the very well organized races there than it has been to drive to what should be close and easy destinations.
