Second Houseiversary
I have now owned my house for two years. I have not given it as much attention as I did in the first year, but it has received some major upgrades this last year. I replaced all the windows on the second floor and put on new siding. I expanded the garden and have started harvesting a lot from the whole property. Decorating is coming along pretty well, too.
This year should bring a bathroom renovation and, depending on how things go, maybe a new driveway / walkway / front porch. Maybe, just maybe, it will also see an end to the kitchen renovation and an end to Cabinet Guy in my life.

I know how you feel with long term house projects. We have owned our Victorian house in an historic neighborhood now for close to 5 years. The initial renovations were all taken care of during the first two years, but now things have tapered off just a bit (although there always seems to be something to do.) Thank goodness we don’t have work crews here daily anymore though. That was a nightmare after a while with no peace and quiet. I still want to tackle the upstairs bathrooms and modernize them just a bit. You know how it is … sometimes you just want to relax and be done with it all, but then you start thinking about something else that might look good if you changed it up just a bit.
Best of luck with the continued renovations at your house. Cabinet Guy probably thinks he lives there by now. lol ;D
